In 2026, Kunststof Forte is the cheapest supplier of HPL sheets in this comparison: €42.35 per m² including VAT. That is 28% cheaper than XXL Direct, 36% cheaper than Kunststofplatenshop and 58% cheaper than HPL.nl. We compared the same sheet across all four suppliers: white (approx. RAL 9010), 6 mm thick, cut to size at 2440 x 1220 mm (2.98 m²).

What does that mean for your project? For a 30 m² façade, you’ll pay €1,270.50 at Kunststof Forte. The same panels cost €1,768.50 at XXL Direct, €1,994.70 at Kunststofplatenshop and €3,012.90 at HPL.nl. Free cutting to size is included, and the online shop offers five colours in this range. For a sheet measuring 2440 x 1220 mm, you’ll pay €175.49, almost €50 more than at Kunststof Forte.

Plastic Sheet Shop: highly rated, but rather pricey

Kunststofplatenshop is well-regarded by customers and offers a wide range of products with numerous customisation options, such as drill holes and cut-outs. However, the price is quite steep: €66.49 per m², which is 57% more than at Kunststof Forte. For a 30 m² façade, the difference amounts to over €720.

HPL.nl: A premium brand, but more than twice as expensive

HPL.nl supplies sheets from Abet Laminati and is by far the most expensive in this comparison: €100.43 per m². Having the sharp edges removed costs an extra €13.29. Furthermore, HPL.nl has no Google reviews, making it more difficult to gauge in advance what the delivery and service will be like.

What else should you look out for apart from the price of HPL sheets?

The lowest price per m² is only good value if the overall figures add up. You should therefore also bear the following points in mind:

• Thickness. For cladding, 6 mm is the most popular choice; 8 mm is sturdier for wider stud spacings. Always compare products of the same thickness.
• Cutting costs and offcuts. If you have sheets cut to size, you only pay for what you need and end up with less waste.
