UV-resistant opal polycarbonate
UV-resistant opal polycarbonate is a strong, milky-white plastic sheet that is widely used for light boxes, advertising columns and privacy glazing. The material is impact-resistant, translucent and features a UV-resistant coating that prevents yellowing caused by sunlight. Compared to Plexiglas Opal Polycarbonate is more flexible, tougher and virtually unbreakable. This makes it ideal for situations where extra strength or vandal-proofing is required.
Key properties of opal polycarbonate
Opal polycarbonate has a frosted glass appearance and allows diffused light to pass through without being see-through. The material is easy to work with and can withstand extreme temperatures of -40°C to +135°C. It is also impact-resistant, durable, weather-resistant and UV-resistant.

Applications of UV-resistant opal polycarbonate
