What is Trespa made of?

Trespa consists of 70% wood fibres and 30% thermosetting resins. The wood fibres provide stability and strength, whilst the thermosetting resin offers durability and water resistance. The production process for Trespa panels consists of three steps. This process ensures a homogeneous panel without any weak spots, ideal for harsh conditions:

1. Dry and mix: Wood fibres are dried and mixed with resins.
2. High-pressure moulding: The sheet is formed under a pressure of 1,200 tonnes and at a temperature of 150°C.
3. Finish: A decorative top coat adds colour and provides extra protection.

Applications

The versatility of Trespa panels is evident in a wide range of applications. For façade cladding, it is widely used for modern façade panels on residential and commercial buildings, as well as for durable façade signage and renovation projects where it transforms ageing façades.
