Transparent acrylic tube
We have an extensive range, so you will always find a suitable transparent acrylic tube. These are also called Plexiglas® or Perspex® tubes and are available in different diameters and wall thicknesses. We can deliver these transparent tubes quickly and inexpensively from our own stock. The tubes are optically pure and clear, strong and can be processed by us in the way you want.
Different applications
An acrylic tube that is transparent is suitable for a variety of applications. This product is often used in the stand- and exhibition building industry, in furniture-/interior building and mostly for technical applications (reactors). But a transparent acrylic tube is also very suitable for use in a shop window and in the lighting industry.
The clear tubes are optically pure and conduct the light well. In addition, these products are reasonably UV stable and weatherproof, but they are not designed for long-term outdoor use. Eventually, they yellow.
Known type of plastic
Acrylate is also known as Plexiglas and Perspex and is one of the oldest and best-known types of plastic. This type of plastic is called polymethyl methacrylate (PPMA) according to its chemical name and is very popular due to its attractive product properties.
We sell clear acrylic of the Versato brand. This clear plexiglass is 100% colourless, lightweight, rigid, practically unbreakable, easy to process. For this reason, it is a good alternative to glass.

Cast and extruded acrylic sheet
There are two main types of acrylic, namely cast (GEG) and extruded acrylic. An advantage of cast acrylic is that it is easy to produce in small quantities, which offers flexibility. Extruded acrylate has the advantage that it has hardly any thickness tolerance. The transparent acrylic tubes on this page are centrifugally cast. Centrifugally cast acrylate is abbreviated to GS.

You can order the perspex transparent tube per 2 full metres from us. The tubes are available in different diameters and wall thicknesses. From an outside diameter of 40mm to an outside diameter of 300mm. The minimum wall thickness is 3mm, the maximum wall thickness we offer is 10mm.

Processing and size as required
Do you prefer a custom-made plexiglass tube, or do you have other wishes? It is possible for us to process the plastic tube for you. This material is easy to process, saw, glue or drill. We can glue the tubes watertight for you. The tubes are only sold in full lengths, but we can cut them to size for you. In that case you will also receive the remaining pieces of the sawn tube at home.
