Properties of coloured aluminium composite panels
Aluminium composite panels, also known as Dibond®, consist of two layers of aluminium with a black PE core in between.
This makes them strong, lightweight and highly dimensionally stable. The sheets are UV- and weather-resistant and can therefore be used both indoors and outdoors.
They can be easily worked on by drilling, sawing or milling.

What are the pros and cons?
Aluminium composite panels have many advantages: a wide range of colours, they are lightweight, very rigid and easy to work with
to be machined. One drawback may be that the core is a different colour to the surface. This can easily be resolved by
use of a profile or finishing strip, such as our Alupanel profiles.
