Description
CLASSIC thin slate
THE WAFER-THIN CLASSIC SLATE IS OBTAINED IN A SPECIAL MANUFACTURING PROCESS

In contrast to ECOSTONE the slate veneer has a glass fibre reinforced backing. The natural, slightly raised look has a backing reinforced with glass fibre and resin. Haptics and optics correspond to the natural stone and therefore convey an extraordinary charm. The possibilities for the craftsman or builder with this hand-made thin slate, which cannot be distinguished from natural stone in terms of feel and appearance, are almost unlimited. The thin slates with a layer thickness of 1-2.5 mm are available in different formats. The standard format is 1220 x 610 mm, but some decors are also available in formats longer than 2 m. These panels can be laid outside, on existing tiles or on floors in living areas. When laying, ensure that the correct adhesive is used.

This new material, CLASSIC thin slate with a material thickness of only 1.5-2 mm, offers a wide range of application possibilities.
The thin, light material is easy to transport and process.
Thin slate ECOSTONE
OUR SUPER-THIN, FLEXIBLE STONE VENEER FOR MODERN LIVING, FURNITURE CONSTRUCTION AND OBJECT DESIGN
ECOSTONE is a wafer-thin veneer of real stone that is bound with resin on a cotton backing. A sufficient quantity of resin penetrates the stone layer and strengthens it. The layer nevertheless retains good flexibility. The layer thickness is between 0.5 mm and 0.8 mm. Further processing, for example by a carpenter, can also be done with white glue. We recommend a suitable counterweight on the back of the surface to be veneered. The easy edge processing of doors or furniture parts is positive and time-saving. The evenly thin stone layer will not be damaged by the edge glueing machine when it is cut.
The natural surface is protected by the use of impregnations and sealants.
We chose the name Ecostone because of its ecologically harmless components (stone, cotton, glue) as well as the environmentally friendly extraction of the stone and the cheaper transport costs per square metre compared to stone slabs.

Thin slate DOORSHITE
THE TRANSPARENT STONE VENEER FOR GASTRONOMY, MODERN LIVING AND OBJECT DESIGN
slate look completely different with or without interior lighting.
TRANSLUCENT CLASSIC is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It is stable, waterproof and available in large formats.
TRANSLUCENT ECOSTONE is flexible and designed for indoor use only.
Translucent thin slate offers the same surface properties as the Classic version, but with a transparent resin base.
When the light source behind the thin slate is switched off, it looks like normal slate - when the light source is switched on, unique patterns emerge.

NOTE ON ASSEMBLY:
The success of the bonding largely depends on the nature and professional preparation of the substrate.
The basic rule is: The substrate must be dry, stable, level, absorbent, clean, smooth and sufficiently even for the intended wall cladding.
